How does Argentina remember the desaparecidos? How do we fully embrace
the memory of our disappeared? In this short video essay I explore some
of the ways the memories are kept alive -- through marches, remembrances
in newspapers, in public school memorials, through art, in a park by
the river that became their grave. For Argentina the task of remembering
is hard work, but the thousands of disappeared souls deserve no less.
